I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> Cas.e #3' ~option Of Utility Ordinance (Water And Sanitary Sewer): <br />I City A~rn~y Goodrich noted that wording has been added to Section <br /> 210.02181!an~ proceeded to read that section aloud. <br /> Council bad'no objections to the addition of certain wording. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka stated that on Page 12 of the Ordinance, <br />Item ~5~!~th~ Section # 210.0218 should be inserted in the blank <br />provided <br /> <br />Motion by Cpuncilmember ~chlueter and seconded by Councilmember <br />Van Wagner ~o dispense wxth the reading of the proposed Utility <br />Ordinanc~ a~ending Chapter 210.01 of the City Code of Ramsey, <br />Minnesota,~nown as the "Street Assessment" Chapter. <br /> <br />Motion ear,fed. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, <br />Sorteberg, Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mr. GoOd~i¢ih stated that the proposed ordinance was introduced on <br />July 24,~ 1~84 and posted according to charter requirements. If <br />Council iadcpts the ordinance tonight, a s,,mmary of the ordinance <br />will be ~Pu~,lished in the official newspaper and it will become <br />effective ~0 days after publication. <br />Councilmem~er Schlueter stated that it appears as though Item #3 <br />on page 3 $f the proposed ordinance is in need of some additional <br />wording. <br /> <br />CounCililco~senus is that the last sentence of Item 3 on page 3 should <br />read as~follows: 'Any property owner who can demonstrate that <br />hookup ~o ~unicipal sewer is not feasible due to distance or <br />topogra~hyior pending land use change, should not be required to <br />hookup. ' <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember <br />Sorteb~rg ~o adopt Utility Ordinance #84- 7.
