Mr. Goodrich said that the significance of this is that th8 C~ty will receive one-half the amount being held in escrow by the City ~f' Ar~ka (amounti.n~. to approximately $300,000) in addition to $150,000 at the t~,_~ e o.f the closing, totalling approximately $450,000 for .the City of Ramsey. ~h. is means that Ramsey will be selling it's interest 1n the existing site ~d that south 80 acres which presently belongs to ADoka. ~his sale will also s~ttl.~ the pending lawsuit with the City of Anoka. councilm~ber Schlueter inquired as to Anoka's position in this sale. Mr. (k~ri~h replied that Anoka's settlement is the same as Ramsey's. Mr. Good~]~h also rmted that Ramsey will also receive 10% of the gross from the existing ~ite and if methane should beoome a viable product, Ramsey and Anoka will ~recetve 3% each and the Cbunty 9%.
