I I Councilmember ~ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #92-12- RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY STUDY ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT. #92-~20 (BITUMINOUS SURFACING OF BISON STREET N.W. FROM 171ST A~ENUE N. W. NORTH TO 173RD AVENUE N.W.) WHEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the improvement 6f bituminous surfacing of Bison Street N.W. from 171st Avenue N. W. North to 173rd Avenue N.W.; and wHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and WHEREA~, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the City Charter and M!nnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, 32NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That a ;cert{ain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of bitumiriousisurfacing of Bison Street N.W. between 171st Avenue N.W. and 173rd Avenu6 N.W. has been filed with the City Council on December 8, 1992. The petition is hereby decl~ed to be signed by the required percentage of affected property owners. This declai'alion iis made in conformity to City of Ramsey Code Section 4.60 and Minnesota Statute ChaPter 429. 2) 3) That ~the resolution is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is instruct, ed t6 prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising th¢ Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible~ andias to the cost of the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall alio comment as to whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some Oflaer !mprovement. That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project//92- 20. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember !and'~upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the folloWing abstained: and the following Were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 22nd day of De~ember, 1992.
