Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #92-12- RESOLUTIONi APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT NO. 2 TO RICHARD KNUTSON, iIN(~. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT g91-01 WHEREA~, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on November 26, 1991; and ~ WHERE&S, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution awarding the bid to Riehard,Kntitson, Inc. for the construction of Improvement Project #91-01; and WHERE~S, the City Engineer has recommended approval of Change Order No. 1 increasing the ~:on~act amount by $5,213.25 to a total of $143,363.45 due to legitimate charges in the scope of the work; and wHEREAS, the City Engineer recommended partial payment to Richard Knutson, Inc. in the amount Of i~; 16317.37. NOW THER~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSE¥, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ciiy Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Richard Knutson, Inc. for the construCtiofl of Improvement Project g91-01 in the amount of $16,317.57. : ; 2) That the Ci~ Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for thio partial payment. 3) That the to~al amount of this partial payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of ihe bills for the month of December 1992. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
