Councilmember. , introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #92-11- RESOLUTION, APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION (ASTECH) FOR THE PROJECT ASPHALT SURFACE 1992 SEALCOATING WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on July' 5, 1992; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution awarding the bid to ASTEL4'H for the 1992 Sealcoating Project; and '- wHP. RE~S, the City Engineer has recommended approval of Change Order No. 1 increasing thc cor~tract amount by $1,863.33 to a total of $85,923.33 due to legitimate changes in the quantity of materials used; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommended partial pay to ASTECH in the amount of $85,923.33; and. WHEREAS, the City has issued previous payments for this project in the amount of $74,923.33. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ~ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That/the iCity Council hereby authorizes partial payment to ASTECH for the 1992 SealeOating Project in the amount of $7,379.50. 2) That the (2ity Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That ;the iotal amount of this partial payment is not included in resolutions approving payment 6f the bills for the month of November 1992. 4) That the ~ity of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the folloWing abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said t, esolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 24th day of November, 1992.
