A Waste Management Company <br /> <br />We currently lhave a Closure/Post Closure obligation of $5,894,662 <br />to the MpCA ~nd another $904,050 to Anoka County for a total of <br />$6,798,712. ,Through July of 1992 WMMI has deducted from gross <br />revenues a total of $2,863,354 for Closure/Post Closure <br />obligations. Subtracting the Closure/post Closure deduct from the <br />total financial assurance obligation ($6,798,712 - $2,863,354) <br />results in $~,935,358 of Closure/Post Closure that has not been <br />deducted from gross revenues. <br /> <br />Currently WM~I is deducting $2.71 per cubic gate yard to cover <br />Closure/P~st~Closure as determined in a letter from our attorney <br />Leonard, Street and Delnard, dated November 19, 1990. Based on the <br />information ~resented above the new Closure/Post Closure deduct is <br />calculated as $3,935,358 / 330,480 cubic gate yards = $11.91 per <br />cubic gate ygrd. From the attached WMMI form titled, Request for <br />Lease Cost Payment, it is seen that for August 1992, the $11.91 per <br />cubic gate yard deduct results in a negative gross revenue for the <br />landfill and ~no payment to either City. <br /> <br />WMMI anticipates that no additional payments will be made to either <br />City based o~ this revised Closure/Post Closure deduct of $11.91 <br />per cubicl gate yard.
