Councilmemlx~r~ ~ <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #92-10-_ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #91- <br />01 (EXT[I~$10'.N OF SANITARY SEWER AND WATER FROM R35-32-25-31- <br />0008 TO THE i~ ~,STERN CITY BOUNDARY) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Ramsey City <br />Council has .met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the <br />improvement c~f wl ter and sewer extension from R35-32-25-31-0008 to the eastern City boundary. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSE¥, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1 ) That sUCh p~'oposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, <br /> is hereby a~cepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named <br /> therein; an,fl each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the <br /> improvemeht in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br />2) That such assessment shall be payable in annual installments extending over a period of ten <br /> years, the f~rst of the installments to be payable with the f'zrst tax rolls of 1993 and shall <br /> bear iritere~t at the rate of 8.0 percent annum from the date of the adoption of this <br /> assessmentI resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire <br /> assesS~entifrom the date of this resolution until December 31, 1992. To each subsequent <br /> installment,i when due, shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. <br /> <br />3) That the owner of any property so assessed may, at any time pr/or to certification of the <br /> asses~men~ to the Anoka County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such <br /> properlry, With interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Department, <br /> except lhat i~o interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from <br /> the adoptioh of this resolution. The owner may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City <br /> Finaric¢ D~3artment the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest <br /> accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. Such payment must <br /> be made b6fore November 13, or interest will be charged through December 31 of the <br /> suce~e~ng !year. <br /> <br />4) That a certified duplicate of this assessment be transmitted to the Anoka County Auditor's <br /> Office ~to b6 extended on the property tax lists of the County and such assessments shall be <br /> coll~tCd a~d paid in the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br /> <br />The motion or'the ~dopfion of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the follov~ng voted against the same: <br />and the following ~stained: <br />and the following Were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon sl!id remlution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 13th day 0f October, 1992. <br /> <br />/0/ <br /> <br /> <br />
