Councilmerab~r ~ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #92-10-_ RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT g92- 02 (SEALC~OA~ING AND CRACK FILLING OF WHITE PINES ESTATES ADDITION)! ~ WHEREAS, pursbant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Ramsey City Council has met andlh~ardland passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the following crack filling Nd se~coating improvement: a) .Helium Street N.W. between 169th Avenue N.W and its cut-de-sac terminus; b) ~FluOrine Street N.W. between 165th Lane N.W. and its cul-de-sac terminus; c) 165~h Lane N.W. between Germanium Street N.W. and its cul-de-sac terminus; d) i.G.,~x~nanium Street N.W. between 165th Lane N.W.and the southern boundary of 'wrote Pine Estates; and e) ~Dys~prosium Street N.W. between 165th Lane N.W.and the southern boundary of 'Wh!te Pine Estates· NOW THI~I~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSES, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) ThatS~ch i~roposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hor~by '~ccepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therai~, an~ each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the improvem~t in the amount of the assessment levied against it. 2) Thats~ch ~ssessment shall be payable in annual installments extending over a period of three yearsI, the first of the installments to be payable with the first tax rolls of 1993 and shall ~ear i~nterest at the rate of 8.0 percent annum from the date of the adoption of this assesSmen~t resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire asseSsmen~ from the date of this resolution until December 3 I, 1992. To each subsequent installfiaen~ when due, shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. 3) That thei . owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the asseSS~en.t to the Anoka County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such prope ~r~y, ~ith interest .accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Department, exempt,that[no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the afl~)ptic~n of this resolution. The owner may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City Finaiae~ D~-partment the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with intereSt accrued to ~December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. Such payment must be ma~te b~fore November 13, or interest will be .charged through December 31 of the succeeding year. That a:cer0fied duphcate of th~s assessment be transrmtted to the Anoka County Auditor's OffiCelto be extended on the property tax lists of the County and such assessments shall be collected a~d paid in the same manner as other municipal taxes.
