Councilmerab~r ~ <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #92-10-_ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT g92- <br />02 (SEALC~OA~ING AND CRACK FILLING OF WHITE PINES ESTATES <br />ADDITION)! ~ <br />WHEREAS, pursbant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Ramsey City Council <br />has met andlh~ardland passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the following <br />crack filling Nd se~coating improvement: <br /> <br /> a) .Helium Street N.W. between 169th Avenue N.W and its cut-de-sac terminus; <br /> b) ~FluOrine Street N.W. between 165th Lane N.W. and its cul-de-sac terminus; <br /> c) 165~h Lane N.W. between Germanium Street N.W. and its cul-de-sac terminus; <br /> <br /> d) i.G.,~x~nanium Street N.W. between 165th Lane N.W.and the southern boundary of <br /> 'wrote Pine Estates; and <br /> <br /> e) ~Dys~prosium Street N.W. between 165th Lane N.W.and the southern boundary of <br /> 'Wh!te Pine Estates· <br />NOW THI~I~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSES, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) ThatS~ch i~roposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, <br /> is hor~by '~ccepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named <br /> therai~, an~ each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the <br /> improvem~t in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br />2) Thats~ch ~ssessment shall be payable in annual installments extending over a period of <br /> three yearsI, the first of the installments to be payable with the first tax rolls of 1993 and <br /> shall ~ear i~nterest at the rate of 8.0 percent annum from the date of the adoption of this <br /> assesSmen~t resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire <br /> asseSsmen~ from the date of this resolution until December 3 I, 1992. To each subsequent <br /> installfiaen~ when due, shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. <br /> <br />3) That thei <br /> . owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br /> asseSS~en.t to the Anoka County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such <br /> prope ~r~y, ~ith interest .accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Department, <br /> exempt,that[no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from <br /> the afl~)ptic~n of this resolution. The owner may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City <br /> Finaiae~ D~-partment the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with intereSt <br /> accrued to ~December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. Such payment must <br /> be ma~te b~fore November 13, or interest will be .charged through December 31 of the <br /> succeeding year. <br /> <br /> That a:cer0fied duphcate of th~s assessment be transrmtted to the Anoka County Auditor's <br /> OffiCelto be extended on the property tax lists of the County and such assessments shall be <br /> collected a~d paid in the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br /> <br /> <br />
