! <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> <br />,I <br /> <br />iI <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember. i <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #92-10-_ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 'ADOPTING ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #92- <br />04 (SEALCOA~ING AND CRACK FILLING OF PONDVALE ESTATES 1ST <br />AND 2ND i,a/DDITIONS) <br /> wHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Ramsey City <br />Council has met ahd heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the <br />following Crack filling and sealcoating improvement: <br /> <br /> a) 150th Lane N.W. between Nowthen Blvd. N.W. and the eastern boundary of <br /> Ponflvale Estates Second Addition; <br /> <br /> b) iHelium Street N.W. between 150th Lane N.W. and the northern boundary of <br /> Pon~vale Estates Second Addition; and <br /> <br /> c) 149th Lane N.W. between the eastern boundary of Pondvale Estates Addition and <br /> i its CUl-de-sac terminus. <br /> <br />NOW THE.~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSE¥, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That Such Proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, <br /> is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named <br /> there, id, an~d each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the <br /> improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br /> [ <br /> <br />2) That s~ach assessment shall be payable in annual installments extending over a period of <br /> three ~ears~ the fzrst of the installments to be payable with the first tax roils of 1993 and <br /> shall bear interest at the rate of 8.0 percent annum from the date of the adoption of this <br /> assess~en{ resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire <br /> assesshaenifrom the date of this resolution until December 31, 1992. To each subsequent <br /> installment! when due, shall be added interest for one year on ail unpaid installments. <br />3) That the owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br /> asseSsmeni to the Anoka County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such <br /> property, With interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Deparmaent, <br /> excep~ that!no interest shal/be charged if the entire assessment is paid w/thin 30 days from <br /> the adopti0~n of this resolution. The owner may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City <br /> Finance D{parrment the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest <br /> accrued to ~December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. Such payment must <br /> be rria~le b~fore November 13, or interest will be charged through December 31 of the <br /> succeedin~ year. <br /> <br />4) That ai certified duplicate of this assessment be transmitted to the Anoka County Auditor's <br /> Office to b~ extended on the property tax lists of the County and such assessments shall be <br /> colleCted a~d paid in the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br />The morion of the gdoprion of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> i and upon vote being taken thereon, the following in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> <br />
