I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #92-10-_ <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #92- <br /> 07 (SEALC0ATING AND CRACK FILLING OF GREENLAND HILLS PLAT 2 ) <br /> WFIEREA~S, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Ramsey City <br /> Council has:met .~nd heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the <br /> following crack fill~ng and sealcoating improvement: <br /> <br /> a) 152nd Lane N.W. between Armstrong Blvd. N.W. and the eastern boundary of <br /> '~Gr~,~ nland Hills Plat 2 Addition; <br /> <br /> b) 15liSt Lane N.W. between Chameleon Street N.W. and Alpaca Street N.W.; <br /> <br /> c) ~ Chameleon Street N.W. between 151st Lane N.W. and 152nd Lane N.W.; and <br /> <br /> d) 'Alpaca Street N.W. between 151st Lane N.W. and its cul-de-sac terminus. <br /> ; , <br />NOW THE~R~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ~kNOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, <br /> is h~r~by ~[ccepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named <br /> there[ill, an.[:l each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the <br /> impr0vem~,nt in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br />2) ThatrsUch gssessment shall be payable in annual installments extending over a period of <br /> thre~ Yea.r~,i the first of the installments to be payable with the first tax roils of 1993 and <br /> shall bear interest at the rate of 8.0 percent annum'from the date of the adoption of this <br /> assessmeni resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire <br /> asses~stnenl~ from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1992. To each subsequent <br /> installment~ when due, shall be added interest for one year on ail unpaid installments. <br /> <br />3) That:the o?ner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br /> asseSsmen[ to the Anoka County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such <br /> prop~e'gY, :~,ith interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Department, <br /> excep~thatlno interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from <br /> the adOpfitbn of this resolution. The owner may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City <br /> FinanCe D{partment the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest <br /> acCrUe2t tO December 31 of the year in which such payment' is made. Such payment must <br /> be made bgfore November t 3, or interest will be charged through December 31 of the <br /> succeeding year. <br /> <br />4) That acertified duplicate of this assessment be transmitted to the Anoka County Auditor's <br /> Officeto b~ extended on the property tax lists of the County and such assessments shall be <br /> collected arid paid in the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br /> <br />The motion of the ~hdoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> ,, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following ~oted against the same: <br /> <br /> <br />
