Councilmemb{k ,i, introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> ., RESOLUTION #92-10-._ <br />RESOLUTION ~DOPTING ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT i~92- <br />10 (SEAI OA!rlNG AND CRACK FILLING OF RUM RIVER HILLS <br />ADDITION)! <br />WHEREAS.~ l~urs~ant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Ramsey City Council <br />has met and :;h~ard iand passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the following <br />crackfilling ahd sealcoafing improvement: <br /> a) :.Iodi~e Street N.W. between Helium Street N.W. and its cul-de-sac terminus; <br /> b) 169ih Avenue N.W. between Iodine Street N.W. and Neon Street N.W.; <br /> c) P169[h Avenue N.W. between Neon Street N.W. and St. Francis Blvd. N.W.; and <br /> d) :Nec~n Street N.W. between 169th Avenue N.W. and 170th Lane N.W. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSES, /~NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That such p.'roposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, <br /> is hereby ~ccepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named <br /> there~iri, an~l each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the <br /> impr0~eme~?t. : in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br />2) That. such: assessment shall be payable in annual installments extending over a period of <br /> three Yearsi the first of the installments to be payable with the fa'st tax rolls of 1993 and <br /> shall, bar i. nterest at the rate of 8.0 percent annum from the date of the adoption of this <br /> asseSstneni resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire <br /> aSseastnent~ from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1992. To each subsequent <br /> installmen~ when due, shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. <br /> <br />3) That~the o [wner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br /> assess~nen! to the Anoka County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such <br /> property, ,4,ith interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Department, <br /> excep! that[no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from <br /> the adbptic~n of this resolution. The owner may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City <br /> FinattCe D~partment the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest <br /> acCrUe~l toZ)ecember 31 of the year in which such payment is made. Such payment must <br /> be ~mal!e b~fore November 13, or interest will be charged through December 31 of the <br /> succeea:lingr year. <br />4) That-a; cer0~fied duplicate of this assessment be transmitted to the Anoka County Auditor's <br /> Offi¢[to bg extended on the property mx lists of the County and such assessments shall be <br /> colleC~:l ~d paid in the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br /> <br />The motion of the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> an~d upon vote being taken thereon, the following in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following <br /> <br />yoted against the same: <br /> <br /> <br />
