Councilmember i introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />, RESOLUTION g92-10-._ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION iADOPTING ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS <br />#91-13 & :~:1.1~ (WATER, SANITARY SEWER, STORM SEWER, PARKS AND <br />STREET ;[rMP~OVEMENTS FOR CHESTNUT HILLS, CEDAR HILLS, <br />WINDEMERE WOODS, AND CHESTNUT POND ADDITIONS AND TRUNK <br />LINES FOll!' W~)OD POND HILLS AND SUNNY PONDS ADDITIONS). <br /> <br /> WH~EREA.S, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Ramsey City <br /> Council ha.s: net nd heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the <br /> improvern~rlt-bf ~ ater, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and street improvements to Chestnut Hills, <br /> Cedar I-Iills,iWind imere Woods, Chestnut Pond Additions and trunk lines for Wood Pond Hills <br /> and Sunny Pot~ds ~idditions. <br /> <br /> NOW THI~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF RAMSlg¥, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That,soch proposed assessment, a copy of which ts attached hereto and made a part hereof, <br /> is heraby a~ccepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named <br /> thereto, an~i each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the <br /> imprOVem ,~nt in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br />2) That seer gssessment shall be payable in annual installments extending over a period of <br /> five years, ihe fa'st of the installments to be payable with the first tax rolls of 1993 and shall <br /> bear!inter~st at the rate of 8.0 percent annum from the date of the adoption of this <br /> asseSsffieni resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire <br /> assea~s~ent: from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1992. To each subsequent <br /> install~nent; when due, shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. <br /> <br />3) That de OWner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br /> assessrnen! to the Anoka County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such <br /> proPe~y, With interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Department, <br /> except[4hat!no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from <br /> the adiPpti6n of this resolution. The owner may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City <br /> Fina~n~ D-CPartment the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest <br /> a¢craeXl to,December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. Such payment must <br /> be rnagte b~fore November 13, or interest will be charged through December 31 of the <br /> succeedin~ year. <br /> <br />4) That. a cer0fied duplicate of this assessment be transmitted to the Anoka County Auditor's <br /> Offic¢¢to be extended on the property tax lists of the County and such assessments shall be <br /> colle~frxl ahd paid in the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br /> <br />The motion ot~ the ~tdoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> a_nfl upon vote being taken thereon, the following in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the folloWing ¥oted against the same: <br /> <br />and the fo t°wing <br /> <br />and the following <br /> <br />tbstained: <br /> <br />~ere absent: <br /> <br /> <br />
