ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR PATROL OFFICER ~ItOMAS LUECK WHEREAs, Thomas Lueck began employment at the City of Ramsey on October l, 1991 as Patr0i~OffiCer in the Police Department with an annual salary of $26,718; and WHEREP~S, as stated in the LELS bargaining unit contract, of which Mr. Lueck is a member, th° ProbStionary period for new employees is one year and the probationary period for Mr. Lueck eXpire, dion October 1, 1992; and WHEREAS, Michael Auspos, Police Chief and Mr. Lueck's immediate supervisor, has given a sati~facto~ employee performance appraisal for Mr. Lueck and recommended retaining IX,tr. Lueck at the City of Ramsey as a regular full-time employee; and wHEREAS, the probationary period has been successfully completed and per the terms of the LELS dontr~tct Mr. Lueck's salary should increase to 79% of Top Patrol, $30,488 annually effective October 1[' 1992; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at their September 22, 1992 meeting, agreed with the recommendation of staff to retain Mr. Lueck as a regular full-time employee and increase Mr. Lueck's annual salgry to $30,488 effective October 1, 1992. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ~NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1 ) That t§e City Council of the City of Ramsey confirm the recommendation of the Personnel Comnlitte~ to end the probationary period for Patrol Officer Thomas Lueck, change his status .to frill-time regular employee and increase his annual salary to $30,488 effective October 1, il 992.
