RESOLUTION #92-10- ~ RESOLUTJON iRECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY STUDY ON;IMpROVEMENT PROJECT #92-19 (EXTENSION OF CITY WATER AND SEWER TO A POINT OF ORIGIN 400 FEET EAST OF THE EASTERN SECTION :IJlNE OF SECTION 23 ALONG 149TI-I LANE N.W. TO ITS CUL-DE- SAC TERMINUS) wHEREflS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the improvement of lye exicnsion of City water and sewer to a point of origin 400 feet east of the eastern section lin{ of Section 23 along 149th Lane N.W. to its cul-de-sac terminus; and WHIgRE~S, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage of lawful signatureg of affected property owners; and WHEREP/iS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the City Charter:nd Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSE~Y, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1 ) That a cert,~.in petition requesting the improvement of the extension of City water and sewer to a point of origin 400 feet east of the eastern section line of Section 23 along 149th Lane N.W; to it.,i cul-de-sac terminus has been filed with the City Council on September 22, 1992. :Theipetition is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected property owners. This declaration is made in conformity to City of Ramsey Code Section 4.60 and Minnesota Statute Chapter 429. 2) That the petition is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is instructed to prep~are ~a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in la preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to the cost of~ the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also comtnent Ks to whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some other impr6vement. 3) That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project #92- " The motion for theiadoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following v~oted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said re~olution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 13th daYof OCtober, 1992.
