Councilmemb~r introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: ~ RESOLUTION #92-10- RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FILLING OF A POSITION VACANCY WHEREAS, at the Personnel Committee meeting of September 22, 1992, Staff presented a recommenita~tionithat the vacancy that exists due to a resignation in the Finance Office be filled as a regular fu!!,fim~, position with assignment of duties that represents 50% time in the Finance Office and th~remhining time in Administrative Services. By consensus, the Personnel Committee referred this discuS, sion to the Budget Committee; and wHE~RI~S, at the Budget Committee meeting of October 6, 1992, the finance and administrativeduti~s of this position were reviewed; and WHEREAS, this regular full-time position is fully funded in 1992 at a salary grade 8 level and is funded at slilary grade 7 in the proposed 1993 budget; and WHEREJ~S, the Budget Committee concurred with Staff's recommendations and recommends Couricil authorize the filling of the position vacancy with an assignment of duties to include 50 ume m the Finance Office and the remaining time in Administrative Services. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, 8NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Rhmsey City Council hereby authorizes the filling of this funded salary grade 7 position w~th duties to include 50% time in the Finance Office and the remaining time in Administrative Services. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following i, oted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following Were absent: whereupon said regolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 13th day of Oatober, 1992.
