CouncilmembCr~. ~ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #92-09- R~SOLUTION DI~CLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROpO$_ED ~SSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #91-01 (EXTENSION OF SANITARY !SEWER AND WATER FROM R35-32.25-31-0008 TO THE EASTERN CITY BOUNDARY) I WHEREAS,! a contract has been let and costs have been determined with reference to the improvement 0flWat~r and sewer extension from R35-32-25-31-0008 to the Eastern City boundary and the expenses incurred Orrto be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $207,860.00 so that the total cost of the impr6?ement will be $207,860.00. NOW TItERI~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY,n" --ANoK& COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City of Ramsey is hereby declared to be $2~2,695.00 and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared io b~ $185,165.00. 2) That the prim ipal of the assessments shall be in annual installments extending over a period of ten years; the first of the installments to be payable on or before May 15, 1993 and shall bear interest at the rate of 8% per annum from the date of the adoption of the assessment resolution. 3) That the}City Administrator shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Ramsey City 2ouncil thereof.
