At that meeting the Committee <br />recommende~ ~a Po!icy be adopted which is consistent with the wording of our present ordinance. <br />Such a syste~n~wo~d have the Building Official declare a septic system failed and order its repair <br />or replacern~ ~ It~Ithe event of non-compliance on the part of the property owner, the City would <br />undertake' the ~p~ and assess the associated cost to the property. <br />At that meeting, t~ Committee also requested that a detailed outline of the workings of such a <br />policy be pr°.Piired .hnd presented to the City Council for their approval.
