Councilmemb~r; <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT <br />FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ~)2-02 (CRACK FILLING AND SEALCOATING OF <br />WHITE PINE~; ESTATES ADDITION) <br /> <br /> WHERI~A$~ by a resolution passed by the City Council on August 11, 1991, the City <br />AdministratOrwas directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improvements on streets in <br />White Pines E~tat~ Addition; and <br /> wHEREAS, i the City Administrator has notified the City Council that such proposed assessment <br />has been compleied and filed In h~s office for pubhc mspecnon. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That a public!hearing shall be held on September 8, 1992 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ramsey Municipal <br /> Center~ to pa~s upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning <br /> propertY afl ,~,ted by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to <br /> such assessment. <br /> <br />2) That th¢i citY~ Administrator is hereby directed to cause a notice of the public hearing on the <br /> propos~e~!' asS~sment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the <br /> hearing; ~and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause <br /> mailec~n~tice[to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than <br /> two weeks prior to the hearings. <br /> <br />3) That the Owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment <br /> by th~ C.0unty~ Auditor, pay tile whole of the assessment of such property, with interest accrued to <br /> the dat~ of Pfi~,ment to the City, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is <br /> paid within 30 days from the adoption of the assessment. The owner may at any time, thereafter, <br /> pay tothe CLty the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to <br /> DeCerabar 31iof the year in which such payment is made.
