The figures for the cost of disposal of the major appliances also includes a $10.00 surcharge for air conditioners which was charged by the recycling contractor after changes in State law regarding the disposal of this type of appliance. This additional charge was set up by the recycling contractor after the information was distributed to the City and residents.
