REVIEW OF IN Backgroundi TERIM USE PERMIT FOR AUTO REPAIR/TOWING FOR ISSUANCE TO FRED DINNETZ By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik CASE APPROVED As you maY ~r~al[, on May 26, 1992, the Ramsey City Council approved the issuance of an Interim Use P~rmi[ (temporary conditional use permit) to Fred Dinnetz. The interim use permit was for an .aiu~ relbair/towing facility at 14600 Nowthen Blvd. N.W. Because of the good faith efforts diSpiiyb, A b~/Mr. Dinnetz while he awaited City action on his permit application, the interim use permit 'W~ issued to Mr. Dinnetz personally, and it was to expire coincidentally with his relocating the 9ut° ~pair facility from the subject site or one year, whichever came first. I talked with StanleYBr~ oW}ting and he informed me that Mr. Dinnetz is no longer employed with ATH. I reminded Mr. tBroWning that the interim use permit was issued to Mr. Dinnetz personally, and without Mr. DinnetZ and an executed permit, there is no valid permit for auto repair activity at the subject site. Mr. Browning is requesting that City Council reissue the interim use permit in his name. Recommendation: I I ! I i I ! In addition, at the auto repair facility have fallen off coincidentally with Mr. Dinnetz' ~I. Since there is no executed Interim Use Permit to enforce and void because of Mr. Dinnetz' sudden departure fro~ the'~site facility, I recommend that City Council rescind Resolution #'s 92-05-106 and 92-05-!07[adOpting findings of fact and issuing an interim use permit, and order the property vacated of the/rotc i'epair facility in a limited time frame.
