I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmem~r _ ~ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #92-07:__ RESOLUTi¢}N iRECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR 1992 STREET SE~L(~OATING PROJECT · WHIplikE.AlS, resolutions were adopted on June 9, 1992 authorizing the solicitation of bids for the 1~2 Sfi'eet Sealcoafing Project; and WHE~EA~, the following bids were received on July 2, 1992: ~ Bid !Ast~ch Corporation $84,060 :Allil ~ Blacktop $86,100 Engineefs Estimate $81,600 AND ~HI[;REAS, Astech Asphalt Surface Technologies Corp. is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSES, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That th~ MgYor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contra~t w~th Astech Asphalt Surface Technologies Corp. in the name of the City of Rarnse9 fo~ the 1992 Street Sealcoating Project in the amount of Eighty-Four Thousand Sixty: D~olla~s ($84,060). 2) That th~ Ciiy Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the degiosi~ .made with their bids except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest [bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
