Councilmember ~ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g92-07- RESOLUTI0I~/I A~THORIZING THE PURCHASE OF LOADER FORKS AND A SHOP HOIST FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT WHERi~S, itbe City of Ramsey's adopted 1992 General Fund Budget included funding for the purchase of and f'trst Y~ar replacement allocation in the total amount of $4,180.00 for a set of loader forks and $660.00 for a sliop hoist; and WHERig~S, i~ the Budget Committee meeting of June 23, 1992 the City's Public Works Supervisor presented price qgoteaireceived and recommended the City purchase one set of loader forks with a quick tach coupler system f'of °Ur~wheel loader from Sweeney Brothers Tractor, Inc. at a cost, including freight and sales tax, of $4,0 ! 6.85;i and WHER.E~S, ~e Public Works Supervisor further recommended the City purchase a shop hoist from Northern Hydraul!es, lhc. at a cost, including sales tax, of $271.58; and WHERE.~S, Shaft recommended a 20 year useful life for these purchases which will require a transfer out to the City's'E~:tuiP~ent Replacement Fund in the amount of $200.84 for the loader forks and $13.58 for the hoist; and WHEREP'S,i the Budget Committee approved this recommendation and hereby recommends the Ramsey City Couocil aothorize the purchases and transfer out as detailed within this resolution. : NOW THER.Ei~OR~E, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA!COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) 2) 3) The motion for th61adOp~tion of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember upon vote being taken ~ereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following q, otedlagainst the same: and the following abStained: That the Ramsqt City Council hereby authorizes the purchase of one set of loader forks from Sweeney Brothers T~racto~, Inc. at a total cost of $4,016.85.
