Thc; Eo'Ua_cil Budget Committee directed Staff to review the utility rates, recommend changes wiiere hppropriate and draft an ordinance to provide for setting the utility rates by resolutiOn.; On May26~ 199~2 Ordinance #92-05 was adopted and the following summary was published on May 29, I992: It is ibc ~tent of Ordinance #92-05 to amend Section 4.40 of the City Code, which seCt[on i~ entitled "Water and Sewer Utilities". Section 4.40 provides for setting m ~un!cipat water and sewer utility rates and charges by City Council resolution, prOVideS !separate sections for each utility, changes certain procedures for more ef~ent ioperation of the City's utility system and describes the manner and pr~ur~ required for connecting to City water and sewer utilities. Ordinanceg92-0~ is effective June 29, 1992.
