Thc; Eo'Ua_cil Budget Committee directed Staff to review the utility rates, recommend <br />changes wiiere hppropriate and draft an ordinance to provide for setting the utility rates by <br />resolutiOn.; <br /> <br />On May26~ 199~2 Ordinance #92-05 was adopted and the following summary was published on <br />May 29, I992: <br /> <br /> It is ibc ~tent of Ordinance #92-05 to amend Section 4.40 of the City Code, which <br /> seCt[on i~ entitled "Water and Sewer Utilities". Section 4.40 provides for setting <br /> m ~un!cipat water and sewer utility rates and charges by City Council resolution, <br /> prOVideS !separate sections for each utility, changes certain procedures for more <br /> ef~ent ioperation of the City's utility system and describes the manner and <br /> pr~ur~ required for connecting to City water and sewer utilities. <br />Ordinanceg92-0~ is effective June 29, 1992. <br /> <br />At the Budget C~mmittee meeting of April 28, 1992 Staff presented the following information and <br /> <br />The 12/31/9! prO~le of Ramsey's water and sewer utility district: <br /> Single family residential customers 305 accounts <br /> Av~fige t~si quarter usage 17,520 gallons/customer <br /> ~MUltl,.farfiilv and commercial customers 16 accounts <br /> AVei~gei~.uarterly usage 102,597 gallons/customer <br /> Number 0f apartment houses 1 <br /> !.
