Mr. Steven J. Jankowski, P.E.
March 5, 1992
Page 2

POST CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

Our scope of services will include preparation of "Record Drawings"
preparation of submittals and documentation necessary to secure MSA
funding.

Estimated manhours = 40 manhours
Not-to-exceed

$2,600.00

Construction staking services would be provided on an hourly basis. The
estimated number of crew hours for construction staking is estimated to be
110 crew hours. This estimate does not include locating the horizontal control
and the front lot corners. Our hourly rate for a 2-man survey crew is $80.00
per hour.

An additional service that is available at your request is full-time
construction inspection. Our hourly rate for construction inspection services
is $50.00 per hour. The estimated number of hours required for an inspector
is 240 hours assuming an eight week construction period. If an inspector is
used on this project, then the construction administration cost would be
reduced due to less site visits required by the project engineer.

The estimates provided in this proposal assume an eight (8) week construction
period working 40 hours per week. The following is our estimated schedule
for this project.

July 1, 1992

August 1, 1992

August 1, 1992

August ll, 1992

September 2, 1992

September 8, 1992

September 15, 1992

November 20, 1992

Receive authorization to begin work.

Plans and specification completed.

Submit plans and specification to appropriate
agencies for review and permits.

City Council approves plans and
specification; authorization to advertise.

Bid opening.

City Council awards project.

Begin construction.

Complete construction.

Given the time requirements to obtain permits from the DNR, watershed
district and other various agencies, the above time schedule is ambitious but
attainable. Weather in the fall will have a significant impact on the
construction schedule and our costs.
