Jankowski, P.E. <br />City Engineer <br />City of Ramsey <br />15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.E. <br />Ramsey, MN 55303 <br /> <br />RE: PROPOSAL TO PROVIDE ENGINEERING SERVICES SUNNY PONDS SUBDIVISION <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Jankowski: <br /> <br />Thank you for your letter of invitation, dated June 12th, requesting a proposal to provide <br />engineering services for Sunny Ponds Subdivision. <br /> <br />Your letter details the work scope to include providing detailed plans and specifications, <br />contract administration and post construction services for municipal infrastructure whose <br />construction cost is estimated at ~350,000 to serve 39 single family lots. <br /> <br />Maier Stewart and Associates, Inc. is pleased to submit this proposal to provide the basic <br />services requested in your solicitation letter for a not-to-exceed cost of $15,000. This being <br />4.28% of the construction cost provided. <br /> <br />We have estimated 300 man-hours to complete the basic services portion of this project. <br /> <br />We understand that the developer of this project has advised the City of his intention to <br />pursue development of this project during the summer of 1992. Maier Stewart and <br />Associates, Inc. stands ready to meet this schedule as dictated by statutory and <br />governmental timelines assuming an authorized to begin work July 1, 1992. <br /> <br />Maier Stewart and Associates, Inc. is prepared to provide construction staking and <br />construction inspection services for this project. We estimate that 105 hours of survey <br />crew time will be required to establish construction controls.
