I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember ~ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g92-06- RESOLUTION ~UTHORIZlNG BUDGET AMENDMENT ~'~ TO ESTABLISH A BUDGET FOR THE 1992 ENVIRONMENTAL EXPO WHERE', at ~e Budget Commillee meeting of March 19. 1992. Staff requesl~l authorization to proceed with plans for the 1992 ArboriDay and Environmental Expo activities; and WHEREAS, Staff recommended the following budget for these events: I~¢l~lded ~n the 1992 General Fund Budget for Cost Center 5612 (Tree Disease Control): : Rmnsey Elementary School pupil "Tree Endowment" for Pdver r Birch trees to give to the fourth ~ade students $ 81.00 Add~tion~l.~ budget allocation was requested as follows: N~l~t~al~t~led Environmental Education programs including a Bald Eagle $185.00 POsl~Ige arid miscellaneous for the Citizens Green Tree Commitlee 200.00 TOtal additional budget request $385.00 TOtal recommended budget $466.00 The total recommended budget does not include the cost of Staff time for the planning of these activities, and the day of the Expo (April 25, .,1992), with the exception of the position of Environmental Specialist, will be staffed with volunteers; and ~ WHEREat the ~udgct Commitm was in agreement with Staffs recommendations and, as these activities meet the requirements fo~iex~ditures from the Landfill Tipping Fee Fund - Restricted Portion, recommends the Ramsey City Council approv~ ~ljd~ition~l funding in the amount of Thre.~ Hundred Eighty-Five and No/100 Dollars ($385.00) for the 1992 Environmm~EXlX~ activities with the funding source the Landfill Tipping Fee Fund. NOW THEREFORE~iBE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNT~', STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the RP~. s~y City Council hereby establishes an expenditure budget for the 1992 Environmental Expo in the amount of $385.00 within the Landfill Tipping Fee Fund - Restricted Portion. 2) That the F'm~n~ ce..:0fficer is h~reby instructed to enter this Budget Amendment #2 to the City's financial system to came this a~,cndment to b~ r~flee~xt in the City's financial records.
