I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />Councilmember ~ intt~luced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION g92-06- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTI~ORIZING BUDGET AMENDMENT #3 TO ESTABLISH A BUDGET FOR THE <br />1992 RAMSEY {~LE~kN-UP DAY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at~.~e Budget Committee meeting of March 19, 1992, Staff requested authorization to proceed with <br />plans for the 1992R~se~, Clean-up Day scheduled for May 2, 1992; and <br /> WHEREA~ Slaff recommended the following budget for Clean-up Day: <br /> <br /> R~iH 1.0~.ds: 1600 yards @ $4.92/yard $7,872.00 <br /> d~ lbickup bags 100.00 <br /> Prin ~t~ng Of permits 75.00 <br /> ~ Ton recommended budget - expenditures in excess of <br /> revenues - nm-to-exceed $8,047.00 <br /> <br />The total recommen¢ed b[adget does not include the cost of Staff time for the planning of these activities, and the day of the <br />event (May 2, 19922 will be staffed with volunteers; and <br /> r <br /> WHEREAgi stafi further recommended the following charges to residents be made: <br /> <br /> Perth!ts iss~w.~l on April 25 and May 1 for one load per household No charge <br /> Pcr~n~s iSsUed on Clean-up Day at the landfill for one load per household $5.00 each <br /> <br /> $2.00 each <br /> Other~tir~ Based on size and weight <br /> <br />and advised that W~t~ Management of Minnesota, Inc.'s charge to the City will be $8.00 per appliance and $1.00 per car tire <br />with other tires charged ~ on size and weight; and <br /> <br /> WHEREA$i the iBudget Committee was in agreement with Staffs recommendations and, as the Clean-up Day <br />activities meet the.rgglui~nents for expenditures from the Landfill Tipping Fee Fund - Restricted Portion, recommends the <br />Ramsey City Col~l~ approve funding this event in an amount not to exceed Eight Thousand Forty-Seven and No/100 <br />Dollars ($8,047.0~) ,~,ith :~e funding source the Landfill Tipping Fee Fund. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, ~BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNT~ S'I~ATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the ~¢y City Council hereby establishes an expenditure budget in the amount of $8,047.00 for the 1992 <br /> Ramsey Cl~-up I~ay within the l_amdfill Tipping Fee Fund - Restricted Poaion. <br /> <br />2) That the Finah. c~ Qfficer is hereby instructed to enter this Budget Amendment #3 to the City's financial system to <br /> cause this am~ndm~nt to be reflected in the City's financial records. <br /> <br />The motion for the a~tiop of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, ~e following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following vol~l.~ against the same: <br />and the following aba ~ained: <br />and the following w~e ab~n~ <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution: was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 23rd day of June, <br />1992. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Adminis~ator <br /> <br /> <br />
