I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Co~ncilmember ! introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION ~)2-06- RESOLUTION ~UTHORIZING BUDGET AMENDMENT 04 TO ESTABLISH A BUDGET FOR THE CITY.WIDE CURB~IDE RECYCLING PROGRAM WHEREA~, at~ the Council meeting of June 9, 1992, a case was presented entitled "Curbside Recycling Contract" wher~i~.~t&ff ~ommended the City extend the recycling contract with Ace Solid Waste Management, Inc.; and WHERI~A~, alger reviewing the estimated expenditures and inter-governmental revenues, the Ramsey City Council authorized ~e e$tension of this con~act for a one year period ending June 30, 1993; and WHEREAS, ba.4¢d on discussion at this same meeting, the following budget was established: i .~992 Budget for the City-Wide Curbside Recycling Program Inlea~,goV~mmental Revenue: ~ I4ndfill abatement funds from Anoka County $30,000.00 Mise. ellan~ous Revenue: ~ C{ty of Ramsey Landfill Tipping Fee 20,000.00 H~I~,, ditures: ~ .F~penditure for recycling contract with Ace Solid Waste Management, Inc. (50.000.00) Exe0ss Of!Revenue over Expenditures -0- AND WH ~l~E~S, the Ramsey City Council authorized the recycling contract expenditures for the period of January 1 thr0ug~ l~un~ $0, 1993 in the amount of $25,000.00 with revenues and a budget for 1993 to be established during the 1993 .i~uftgcti~ process. NOW THEREFaRE'i BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUI~I~(, ~TATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ra~sey City Council hereby establishes a 1992 Budget for the City-wide Curbside Recycling Program as detailed abo~e. ? 2) That the P~scy City Council previously authorized contract expenditures for recycling services for the period of January 1, 1 .~[~921t!arough and including June 30, 1992, and hereby confirms authorization to extend this contract to June 30, [993 lit a rate of $1.15 per household. 3) That the Fin~. ceOfficer is hereby instructed to enter this Budget Amendment ~4 to the City's f'mancial system to cause this end. end,dent to be reflected in the City's fmanciaI records.
