I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmeanbex ~ inmed thc following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> r RESOLUTION #92-06- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~UT~IORIZING BUDGET AMENDMENT #5 TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR AN <br />ADDITIONAL :S,IX ISSUES OF THE RAMSE¥ RESIDENT NEWSLETTER DURING 1992 <br /> wHEREAS' a~ignificant portion of the Ramsey Resident newsletter is devoted to providing information for <br />recycling and o~env'aonmental issues which qualify as expenditures from the Landfill Tipping Fee Fund - Restricted <br />Portion; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS., at~e public hearing for the City's 1992 Budget, Council directed S~aff to identify a source of funds <br />for the purPos~ 0fe~tendtnr g tl~ number of 1992 issues of tl~ Ramsey Resident newsletter fi.om six to twelve; and <br /> WHEREAS, at ~le Budget Committee meeting of March 19, 1992, Staff proposed the Landfill Tipping Fee Fund - <br />Restricted Portion ~ this funding source; and <br /> WHEREAg~ the additional six issues will result in an expenditure of $7,300.00 from the City's General Fund; and <br /> <br /> WHERE&g, th~ Budget Committee was in agreement with Staffs recommendations and recommends to the <br />Ramsey City Cou~l'tl~.i~an Operating Transfer from the Landfill Tipping Fee Fund- Restricted Portion to the General Fund <br />be made to provid~i ~i~ar lltig expenditure. <br />NOW THERgF. 0RE~[BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' RAMSEY~ <br />ANOKA cOuNT~, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) Tim! the R~sey City Council hereby authorizes an Operating Transfer from the City's Tipping Fee Fund to the <br /> City s Ge, n~}ll FUrid in the amount of $7,300.00 for the purpose of extending the number of 1992 issues of the <br /> Ramse~ R~,~i21ent fiewsletter from six to twelve. <br /> <br />2) That the Fin~aw, e Officer is hereby instructed to enter this Budget Amendment $$5 to the City's financial system to <br /> cause Ibis ~t to be reflected in the City's financial records. <br />The motion for ll~a~t!0n of th~ foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, ~he following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following vo~l~ agtiinst the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following Wete abae. nt: <br />whereupon said resolutiofi was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 23rd day of ~Iune, <br />1992. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administralor ~ ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
