I I I I Councilmeml~r : introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #92-06- RESOLUTIONi GRANTING AN EXTENSION OF THE CONTRACT FOR CURBSIDE ,RECYCLING PICK-UP WITH ACE SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT, INC. wHEREAs, the City of Ramsey is required to provide curbside recycling service for its residents und¢lr the 1989 SCORE Legislation; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has received competitive bids from independent contractors Pe~orn~ng curbside recycling service; and WHEREkS, the Ramsey City Council approved the current contract at its February 27, 1991 meeung, land WHEREAS, this contract will expire on July 1, 1992; and WHERE~S, the Ramsey City Council, at its June 8, 1992 meeting, authorized an extension of.tile ¢~nt contract with Ace Solid Waste Management, Inc. at the contracted price until July 1, 1993. i NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, SPATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That th~ Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a one year contract with Ace Solid Waste Management, Inc. for curbside recycling services for th~ ~eri0d of July 1, 1992 through July 1, 1993. 2) That this co~ntract extension shall be under the same terms of the contract approved by the City .C.0~uneil on February 27, 1991.
