That he ;Applicant appeared before the Planning and Zoning Commission for a public headrg Pqrsuant to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on June 2, 1992, and that the @~:bli¢ hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereb, incorporated by reference. That the subject property is generally known as 15328 Hematite Street N.W. and is legally des6ri[bed a; s follows: The si~uth iquarter of the west half of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Sect/oh 2~, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota. Except the east 33.00 feet thereOf for road and except the south 33.00 feet thereof for road and except that part of said p ,~t~cel!which lies west of the northeasterly right-of-way of 153rd Avenue N.W. That t}~e s~bject property is zoned R-1 Rural Residential. That tile sLt~ounding properties are zoned R-1 Rural Residential. That &ctii~n 9.22.01, subd. 12.c, states that on parcels greater than one acre but less than 2.5 ae~ s, ~ccessory structures shall be built with the same type construction materials and shall l~ave!the same general design and exterior facing finish as that of the principal struCtt~rc 1.6~ated on the parcel. £ Thatthe subject property is approximately 2.2 acres in size. That ~e Applicant is proposing to construct a 960 square foot metal accessory structure on the sulsject parcel. That the Proposed size of the accessory structure is in accordance with size limits estabhShed~m Seenon 9.22.1 t of the C~ty Code. That the metal exterior facing finish proposed for the accessory structure is not in aeco~'d~mceiwith Section 9.22.11 of the City Code. That;ekcept for a plat of one acre lots south of the subject parcel, across 153rd Avenue N.W~, Me ~bject parcel is surrounded by parcels which range in size from 2.5 acres to 10 acres. [ That the subject parcel measured approximately 5.0 acres in size prior to the construction of 153rd Aven~ue N.W., which split the subject property into two parcels.
