Councilmemb~, introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> : RESOLUTION #92-06-__ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION: !RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR 1992 <br />STREET C~ACK SEALING PROJECT <br /> WHEIiEA~S, resolutions were adopted on May 12, 1992 authorizing the solicitation of <br />bids for the t972 Sfl'eet Crack Sealing Project; and <br /> WHE~EAS, the following bids were received on June 8, 1992: <br /> <br /> iAste~Ch Asphalt Surface Technologies Corp. $24,990 <br /> ~g' en, Inc. $25,470 <br /> ~rBergman Companies, Inc. $26,040 <br /> iBla~ktop Repair Service $27,300 <br /> <br /> !Engineer's Estimate $27,600 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, Astech Asphalt Surface Technologies Corp. is the lowest responsible <br />bidder. <br /> <br />NOW THEREF.QRE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSES, ~NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That th~ M~yor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br /> contact wi~h Astech Asphalt Surface Technologies Corp. in the name of the City of <br /> Rams,~ forithe 1992 Street Crack Sealing Project in the amount of Twenty-Four Thousand <br /> Nine ~n '~d~ed Ninety Dollars ($24,990). <br /> <br />2) That th~ Ciiy Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders <br /> the d¢l~Sil~ made with their bids except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the <br /> next t~6 iowd. st bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br /> . r <br /> <br />The motion for~the ~adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember__ <br /> i anti,upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the follow~g abstained: <br />and the following Were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said reSblution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 9th day of l.'une, 1992. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Adminis~ ~tor, <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
