Councilmem its adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved for RESOLUTION #92-06- RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND SPECIFtC)k~IONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVE~41EN~ PROJECT //92-09 (SEALCOATING OF NORTHFORK 1ST, 2ND & 3RD!ADDITIONS) WI-iCl EA~, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Ramsey City Council on May 12, 1992, the Cit} ~ngi~neer has prepared contract documents and specifications for the sealcoating of Northfork 1st ~nd & 3rd Additions and has presented such contract documents and specifications to the Council ~ or approval. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEr~, ~NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That s~ch c~ntract documents and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a!part!hereof, are hereby approved. 2) That tht Cip,/Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Coi~$truetion Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such impr0Vem~[nt under such approved contract documents and specifications. The ad~ertiilcme, nt shall be published for 10 days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that :bi~ Is w!ll be received by the City Administrator until 2:00 p.m. on July 2, 1992 at which [me ~hey will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Cente~ by ripe City Administrator and City Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be consid~ red by the Ramsey City Council at 7:30 P.M. on July 14, 1992 in the Council chaml ,~rs. ~kny bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be ,,iveh an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids wiill b~ :ohsldered unless sealed and filed with the City Administrator and accompanied by a eaSll ep0&it, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City of Ramsey for fiv~ ($)r~ercent of the amount of such bid.
