I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmem~r its adoption! introduced the following resolution and moved for RESOLUTION #92-05- RESOLU'FION APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEI~ENT PROJECT #92-01A (CRACK FILLING OF MSA STREETS) WH~.EAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Ramsey City Council on May 12, 1992, the C!~ Engineer has prepared contract documents and specifications for the crack filling of MSA Streets iand~,has presented such contract documents and specifications to the Council for approval. : NOW THEREF!DRE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMfi[~IY, ~NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That st~chl Contract documents' and specifications, a copy of which is enclosed herewith and made ~ par~ hereof, are hereby approved. 2) That the City Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the[Co~hstruction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improlvem~nt under such approved contract documents and specifications. The advert~em~nt shall be published for 10 days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that: bi,ts ~ill be received by the City Administrator until 10:00 a.m. on June 9, 1992 at which iimelthey will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Cente~by the City Administrator and City Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be consid~redi by the Ramsey City Council at 7:30 P.M. on June 9, 1992 in the Council Charnt~ers: Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be giv~ n an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will 1~ (con!~.idered unless sealed and filed with the City Administrator and accompanied by a cash dep~ sit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City of Ramsey for fiv~i (5) ~ercent of the amount of such bid.
