I I I I I I ,I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmemt~r: ~ its adoption -- introduced the following resolution and moved for RESOLUTION #92-05- RES O LU'I]:ION APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND SPECIFI!~/~,TI_0_NS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEMEI~T PROJECT #92-03 (CRACK FILLING OF MENKVELD'S UNPLATTF~D AND MENKVELD'S COUNTRY PARK ADDITIONS) WHE~IE/~S, pursuant ton resolution passed by the Ramsey City Council on May 12, 1992, the C~t~ E~l~ineer has prepared contract documents and specifications for the crack filling of Menkveld's !Hnp~tted and Menkveld's Country Park Additions and has presented such contract documents an0 speCifications to the Council for approval. NOW THI~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAM~, ~ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That is{ich .aontract documents and specifications, a copy of which is enclosed herewith and made ~ par( hereof, are hereby approved. 2) That t¥ C~[y Admzmstrator shall prepare and cause to be ~nserted m the offimal paper and in the[CO/~struction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such impro~¢rnSnt under such approved contract documents and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for 10 days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bi~s Wlll be received by the City Administrator until 10:00 a.m. on June 9, 1992 at which time!they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center :by",the City Administrator and City Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be conSi&'~rediby the Ramsey City Council at 7:30 P.M. on June 9, 1992 in the Council chamters: [Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will b¢giv~n an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be ConSidered unl_e, ss sealed and filed with the City Administrator and accomPanied by a cash :lep~sit, cashier s check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City of Ramsey for fi{~¢ (5) percent of the amount of such bid.
