I Councilm~m~r i i its adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved for RESOLUTION #92-05- RESOLU~ION APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND SPECIFIC~TIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEI~fENTT PROJECT #92.05 (CRACK FILLING OF OLD COUNTY ROAD W~E'~S, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Ramsey City Council on May 12, 1992, the Ci~ En, gineer has prepared contract documents and specifications for the crack filling of Old County!~ad ~5 and has presented such contract documents and specifications to the Council for approval. ~,' NOW TI-I tEFPRE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSAY, ~NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1 ) That slJch Contract documents and specifications, a copy of which is enclosed herewith and made {t pa~t hereof, are hereby approved. 2) Thatt~e C{ty Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in th~ Cohstruction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such impgo~ern~nt under such approved contract documents and specifications. The advert!se ~r~nt shall be published for 10 days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that 10~s ~ill be received by the City Administrator until 10:00 a.m. on June 9, 1992 at which ~im~they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Cen~by the City Administrator and City Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be consi~red!.by the Ramsey City Council at 7:30 P.M. on June 9, 1992 in the Council Charnl~ers. i Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will bd, giv{n an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will ~c°n[sidered unless sealed and filed with the City Administrator and accompanied by a cash ~ep~sit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City of Ramsey for five (5)Ipercent of the amount of such bid.
