Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Backgroundl <br /> <br />To facilitate the construction of the Juniper Woods subdivision, the City entered into an agreement <br />with Mr. Albia Pet~rson in April 1990 which allowed for the extension of sewer and water through <br />his property agd his dedication of right-of-way for Waco Street N.W. between 149th Avenue <br />N.W. and 150{;h A~'enue N.W. in exchange for the City installing the roadway. <br /> <br />The City Engil~eeri~g Department has prepared plans and specifications for the construction of this <br />segment of'rotadW~y, which have been reviewed and approved by the Metro District State Aid <br />Office of. Mr~/l~)O~. Project approval has been received from Mn/DOTs central office in St. Paul <br />on April 14,:1992.~ <br /> <br />The total project: ~:ost is estimated to be approximately $74,700 with a construction cost of <br />$57,500. Ail project costs will be funded through the City's MSA construction allotment. The <br />1992 construc~on ~llocation is $312,981. <br />The City Cout~eil ~uthorized the solicitation of bids at its April 14, 1992 meeting. Bids will be <br />opened at 2:00' p,m. on Thursday, May 21, 1992.
