Councilme~Pbcri adoption: i introduced the following resolution and moved for its RESOLUTION #92-05- REsOLU~ION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #89-18 (WACO STREET N.W. IMPROV,EM~NTS FROM 149TH AVENUE N.W. TO 150TH AVENUE N.W.) WHEREAS, Resolution g92-04-066 authorized the solicitation of bids for the above refer~nce4:l work; and WHER.EAS,~ the following bids were received on May 21, 1992: [ 0mann Brothers, Inc. $60,471.50 W. B. Miller $61,755.00 Bituminous Consulting & Contracting, Inc. $65,642.95 Alber Construction $68,756.90 GMH Asphalt Corporation $70,764.60 Bauerly Brothers, Inc. $74,093.86 ~Valley Paving $82,415.60 AI~[D WHEREAS, Omann Brothers, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW T~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY O~ ~AMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows.'- i i 1 ) That tho Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Omann Brothers, Inc. in the name of the City of Ramsey for the extension of street improvements for Waco Su'eet N.W. from 149th Avenue N.W. t° ~50t~ Avenue N.W. in the amount of $60,471.50. 2) That th4 City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all b!d{:lerS tthe deposits made with their bids except that the deposits of the successful bid~ler and the next to lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been si:gne& ~; The motion f~r the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmetnbe~ and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor therebf: ; and the foliowifig voted against the same: and the f01lowi~g abstained: and the foltowihg were absent: whereupot} said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City CounCil this th~ 26th day of May, 1992.
