!There shall be no discharge of any substance or matter which <br />Imay form a deposit or obstruction in the public sanitary sewer. <br />IAny customer discharging such a substance shall within five (5) <br />Idays of written notice provide said drain with an approved means <br />$o prevent any substance or matter from passing into the drain or <br />~amtary sewer which may cause a deposit or obstruction therein. <br />~n case of neglect or refusal to provide a cesspool or catch basin, or <br />ko clean out or repair or alter such drain, for a period of five (5) <br />days, the Council shall cause the same to be repaired, altered, <br />~leaned and provided with such other means to prevent any <br />~ubstances or matter from passing into the sanitary sewer or <br />flrain that' may cause a deposit or obstruction therein as it may <br />fleem expedient, at the expense of the customer. <br /> <br />4.40.0~ ~ES AND PEB..MITS <br /> ~Subd. 1. Fees and Permits <br /> <br /> ;a. ?he issuance of permits and licenses, the collection of fees and the <br /> requirements for bonds and insurance shall be as set by Council <br /> . <br /> resolution. <br /> <br />NO person shall commence any plumbing work of any kind where <br />~ permit is necessary without first obtaining a proper permit from <br />ihe City and complying with all the terms thereof. <br /> <br />An excavation permit is required if any part of the excavation for <br />~unicipal water or sanitary sewer service is within a City street <br />Or right-of-way. Such excavation permits shall be issued in <br />accordance with the provisions of the City Code section regulating <br />~xcavations in streets. <br /> <br />  he charges for tapping watermains, and the amount of the water <br /> eter usage fee and all other fees, shall be paid at the time <br /> plieation for service is made and before the service is installed. <br /> ater service will not be turned on until all charges against the <br /> ?emises are paid. <br /> <br /> ~.
