2.04.03 <br /> <br />Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting of the Board shall be held each year <br />on the second Monday in January. <br /> <br />Regular Meeting. Regular meetings of the Board shall be held on notice <br />from the secretary within ten working days after an appeal is filed with the <br />Board. If additional time is required, an extension to the ten working days <br />may be granted with approval of the chairperson. <br /> <br />iApphcation and appeals. <br />ISUbdivision 1. Application. <br /> Form. Each application and appeal shall be in writing and shall contain such <br /> information as hereinafter prescribed. <br /> i Application for Permission to Use Alternate Materials and <br /> Methods of Construction. An application for permission to use alternate <br /> materials or methods of construction shall first be submitted to the Building <br /> Official for approval or denial and shall include: <br /> <br /> 1. The name and address of the applicant, and if the applicant is acting as <br /> agent for another, the name and address of the person, firm, or <br /> corporation for whom the applicant is agent. <br /> <br /> 2. A description of the type of building or structure and the work to be <br /> performed for which permission to use alternate materials or methods is <br /> requested. <br /> <br /> 3. A description of the use and occupancy of the building or structure. <br /> <br /> 4. A citation to the controlling section or sections of the Uniform Building <br /> Code which specify the materials or methods for which alternates are <br /> requested. <br /> <br /> 5. A description of the alternate materials or methods of construction <br /> proposed to be used. <br /> <br /> 6. If a test is required by the Building Official pursuant to Sections 106 and <br /> 107 of the Building Code, a report from an approved agency which has <br /> tested the proposed alternate materials or methods of construction. Such <br /> report shall include the findings, conclusions, and recommendations, if <br /> any, of the approved agency. <br /> <br /> The decision of the Building Official shall be in writing and shall be <br /> served upon the applicant by mail. <br /> <br /> An applicant who is dissatisfied with a decision of the Building Official <br /> may thereupon appeal to the Board as hereinafter provided. <br /> <br />Application for Interpretation of the Building Code. Any person <br />who desires an interpretation of the Building Code shall first submit a written <br />[request for an interpretation to the Building Official. Such request shall <br />iinclude: <br /> <br />The name and address of the applicant, and if the applicant is acting as <br />agent for another, the name and address of the person, firm or <br />corporation for whom the applicant is agent. <br /> <br /> <br />
