Perhaps the b~st reason for this joint meeting would be for the City Council to get acquainted with the CommiSsion,s! three newest members. Also, with June being an important budget planning month, staff!has itaken the liberty to invite Steve Kerr, Anoka-Hennepin School District #11 Director of Cpmmunity Education, to the joint meeting. Mr. Kerr has accepted an invitation to provide, in £~ne~l terms, an overview of Community Education and more specifically Ramsey's program. I "~fo ~.ed Mr. Kerr that we would let him know before the meeting if there were any particular areas ofiinterest beyond dollars or enrollment numbers. Other subjects worthy of discussion may be: · Parks Capital Improvement Program · park Dedication and Park Assessments · 1992 Gbals (and possibly 1993) Please let me know if there's anything I've neglected or that you would like available for discussion at the meeting. /jmt /9
