Councilrnem~ ~_. introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #92-04-_ RESOLUTI[QNi0RDERING ADVERTISEMENTS FOR BIDS FOR SAP 199-111- 02 WAC. 0~R~ET N.W. IMPROVEMENTS FROM 149TH AVENUE N.W. TO lS0TH N.W. WIIRI~EA~, the City of Ramsey has entered into an agreement with Mr. Albin Peterson for the consttu~fio~ of Waco Street N.W. between 149th Avenue N.W. and 150th Avenue N.W.; and WHRREAS, this segment of street has been identified as a collector street on the City's Thoroughfare ~lan ~nd is designated as a Minnesota State Aid Street; and WH:I~.~EAB, engineering plans and specifications have been prepared by the City and approved by {h,~ DiStrict Office of Mn/DOT. NOW TH iF E, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAM$1g~ ~NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That ~ ~ Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in~ th~!Co~struction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such imprOv~ ~m¢~ts. The advertisement shall be published for 21 days, shall specify the work to be do~, sh~l state that bids will be received by the City Administrator until 2:00 p.m. on May ~1~ 19~2 at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Council Chambers of the Rh~r ~s~ Municipal Center by the City Administrator and City Engineer, will then be tabul~t~ d a~d will be considered by the Ramsey City Council at 7:30 p.m. on May 26, 1092 ~it th¢f Council Chambers. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during conside :atiCa of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of resp°~-: ibi!Ity. No bids will be considered unless sea, led and filed with the City Admk ~tr~i~0r and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier s check, bid bond or certified checEI ~lya~le to the City of Ramsey for five (5) percent of the amount of such bid.
