I I I I I I I I I I I I I Counc)im~m~r its adoption: dotse, introduced the following resolution and moved for RESOLUTION #92-03- R ESOLUT-ION APPROVING CONTRACT D~CUMENTS AND SPECIFI,,C~TiONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR IMPROV,~EI~T PROJECT ,~-~),~l-14a (STREET IMPROVEMENTS TO SERVICE CHESTNUT H[ILLS, CHESTNUT POND, CEDAR HILLS AND WINDEMERE WOODS A~DI~IONS) F [ WHERE~S, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Ramsey City Council on July 23, 1991, the CO~tsult!ng Engineer has prepared contract documents and specifications for the street improvement~ 1o Iservice Chestnut Hills, Chestnut Pond, Cedar Hills and Windemere Woods Additions an[:l h~ presented such contract documents and specifications to the Council for approval · NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMS~Y, ib, NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA as follows: 1) That s~Ch ~ontract documents and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and madei4t par~,~ hereof, are hereby approved. 2) That tt~e City Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in th~ C0hstruction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such impzOvem~nt under such approved contract documents and specifications. The adve.~-t, isemgnt shall be published for 21 days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bi~s ~ill be received by the City Administrator until 11:00 a. m. on April 9, 1992 at which time, they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Cente~ by ~he City Administrator and City Engineer, will then be tabulated and will be consi~l :red by the Ramsey City Council at 7:30 p.m. on April 14, 1992 in the Council Chaml erS. No bids will be!ConSidered unless sealed and filed with the City Administrator and accompanied by a cash ~lepr~s~t, cashier s check, Nd bond or certified check payable to the City of Ramsey for fiv~ (5) ~percent of the amount of such bid.
