Councilme,)~i Be~er introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #92-01-011 <br /> <br />RESOLUTI~N.iAPPROVING ANOKA AREA ICE ARENA ASSOCIATION, <br />INC.'S API}~ICJIiTION FOR A PREMISE PERMIT FOR GAMBLING AT J.R.'S <br />SALOON ASr ,Vr OOI . <br /> WI-It~EA~, the City of Ramsey is in receipt of a Minnesota Lawful Gambling Premises <br />Permit application f[om the Anoka Area Ice Arena Association, Inc.; and <br /> WHEI~EA~, a copy of this application was received by the City of Ramsey on January 7, <br /> 1992; and <br /> <br /> WHEREA~S, the Anoka Area Ice Arena Association, Inc. has paid the $100.00 <br />investigation f~ re¢uired of new applicants; and <br /> wHEREA~, the applicant desires to operate lawful bingo and other charitable gambling <br />pursuant to Sta!eL!w;:, and <br /> WHErllEA[S, the applicant will conduct these activities at 6141 Highway #10 N.W. in <br />Ramsey; and: <br /> <br /> WHERE~S, the applicant currently operates similar activities successfully within <br />neighboring AOokg <br /> THE.JR~I~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />NOW <br />OF RAMSE¥, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That t~e Qity Council of the City of Ramsey hereby approves the premise permit <br /> appti¢~ionlof the Anoka Area Ice Arena Association, Inc. for gambling at J.R.'s Saloon <br /> and Fob~ d, ! - <br /> <br />2) That ar~Y requisite investigative period is hereby waived. <br /> <br />The mouon :fOr th{ adoption of the foregoing resolunon was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Cich and up0n?vot~ being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> Coun~c~rnet~ber Beyer <br /> Coun~Cilrne~ber Cich <br /> Counc~member Peterson <br />and the following <br /> ,Coted against the same: <br /> <br /> None; <br /> ? <br />and the following a:bstamed: <br /> <br /> May0r~3ill~enson <br /> CounC~megqber Hardin <br />and the folloWing ~'ere absent: <br /> None _~ <br /> <br /> <br />
