RECEIVED
JUN 2 O 19B9
An 'd ............

June 19, 1989

Mr. Mark Banwart
Community Development Director
City of Ramsey
15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W.
Ramsey, Minnesota 55303

Dear Mr. Banwart:

Pursuant to Section 110.20 of the ordinances of the City of
Ramsey, this letter constitutes an application of F&R Enterprises
for an opening burning permit for disposal trees burned in the fire
caused by the Burlington Northern Railway during April of 1988.

The purpose of the burning will be to eliminate any possible
fire hazard at the property caused by the April fire and prepare
the land for development.

The burning will be conducted by Sauter and Sons, Inc., 14050
Azurite, Anoka, Minnesota, under the personal direction of Thomas
Sauter, and under contract with F&R Enterprises. The burning will
take place within two burning pits which will be dug at the
property. The use of two pits will allow smaller, safer fires to
be used and more expeditious burning to occur. Ail burning will
be done in strict compliance with all air pollution control rules
of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. It is estimated that
all burning can be completed within one to two weeks after
commencement of the work. Work can commence within a few days
after issuance of the permit.

Please contact me once the permit is ready for issuance.

Sincerely,

Paul R.
