R~view ~vi~ Conditional Dse P~rmit Agreement: ..Case Of Mr. <br /> <br />Mr. Root was pre~ent and stated that he is in agreement with the revised <br />co~z~itor~l use permit. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />approve the revised conditional use pennit for Mr. Gerald Root to operate <br />an automobile sa/es and repair business at 14700 Nowthen Blvd. N.W. <br />Further, that Item ~9 of the conditional use permit will specify that a <br />'minimm~ of six parking spaoes and the driveway' shall be surfaced with a <br />minimu~ of four (4) inches of traprock and Item ~10 shall specify that no <br />outside business will be conducted on Sundays. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Discuss ~klture Plans For Industrial/Business Sewer And Water: <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that he met with EDC on February 18 to review two new <br />alternate alignments for providing sewer and water to the Industrial area. <br />Alternate ~1 would provide service to the intersection of Industry Avenue <br />and Sunfish Lake Blvd. with a Hwy. ~10 crossing at Tungsten Street. <br />Alternate ~2 would provide service to Industry and Sunfish Lake Blvd. with <br />a Hwy. ~10 crossing at Sunfish Lake Blvd. The water alternative would <br />provide service to the intersection of Industry and Sunfish as Phase I and <br />Phase II would extend water service across Hwy. ~10. EDC has recommended <br />proceeding with ~!ternative ~2, Phase I and 2 for sewer service and <br />Alternative #!, Phase ! for water service. Mr. Hartiey is working on <br />revised estimates of tax increment revenues which can be generated by the <br />tax increment district. <br /> <br />Co~ncilmember Cox irquired if the people in the Tungsten area are aware of <br />these new alternatives. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka replied that s~me members of EDC felt that affected <br />property owners should be contacted prior to making a recommendation to <br />Council but the final vote was to proceed with a recommendation.
