R~view ~vi~ Conditional Dse P~rmit Agreement: ..Case Of Mr. Mr. Root was pre~ent and stated that he is in agreement with the revised co~z~itor~l use permit. Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to approve the revised conditional use pennit for Mr. Gerald Root to operate an automobile sa/es and repair business at 14700 Nowthen Blvd. N.W. Further, that Item ~9 of the conditional use permit will specify that a 'minimm~ of six parking spaoes and the driveway' shall be surfaced with a minimu~ of four (4) inches of traprock and Item ~10 shall specify that no outside business will be conducted on Sundays. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. Discuss ~klture Plans For Industrial/Business Sewer And Water: Mr. Raatikka stated that he met with EDC on February 18 to review two new alternate alignments for providing sewer and water to the Industrial area. Alternate ~1 would provide service to the intersection of Industry Avenue and Sunfish Lake Blvd. with a Hwy. ~10 crossing at Tungsten Street. Alternate ~2 would provide service to Industry and Sunfish Lake Blvd. with a Hwy. ~10 crossing at Sunfish Lake Blvd. The water alternative would provide service to the intersection of Industry and Sunfish as Phase I and Phase II would extend water service across Hwy. ~10. EDC has recommended proceeding with ~!ternative ~2, Phase I and 2 for sewer service and Alternative #!, Phase ! for water service. Mr. Hartiey is working on revised estimates of tax increment revenues which can be generated by the tax increment district. Co~ncilmember Cox irquired if the people in the Tungsten area are aware of these new alternatives. City Engineer Raatikka replied that s~me members of EDC felt that affected property owners should be contacted prior to making a recommendation to Council but the final vote was to proceed with a recommendation.
