I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmenlber <br /> · <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #92-01- <br /> <br />RESOLUT:~ONi ACCEPTING THE PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL AND <br />U~CREAS£i~!A~V^L SALARY gOR SENIOR ENGINEERING TEC.N~CIA~ <br />DONALD JOH~SON <br /> WHE~EA~S, Donald Johnson began employment at the City of Ramsey on November 14, <br />1990 as SeniO}' Engineering Technician in the Engineering Department in salary grade 3.5 with an <br />annual salarYbf $~2,642; and <br /> WHE~RE~S, as stated in the AFSCME contract, of which Mr. Johnson is a member, each <br />employee whO' suct:essfully completes probation and receives a satisfactory performance evaluation <br />shall be ~p!g¢~d air not less than the applicable range minimum at the completion of 2,0g0 <br />compensated hout~, exclusive of overtime; and <br /> . <br /> wHE~EAkS, Mr. Johnson completed 2,080 compensated hours, exclusive of overtime, <br />on Novemb ra4 . !991; and <br /> WHE~E~s, City Engineer Steve Jankowski, Mr. Johnson's immediate supervisor, has <br />given a satis-fl~ctor~ employee performance appraisal for Mr. Johnson and recommended that his <br />annual salarY ~ncreCse,: ~ to $26,291, the one-year rate of salary grade 3.5; and <br /> wH.E~E S, City Administrator Ryan Schroeder agreed with the performance appraisal <br />for Mr. JohnsOn arid the recommendation of Mr. Jankowski; and <br /> <br /> WItEI~EAiS, the Personnel Committee, at their January 11, 1992 meeting, acc,epted the <br />performance ~pPr~isal completed by staff and the recommendation that Mr. Johnson s annual <br />salary incre~i~~ 'to ~26,291 in salary grade 3.5 effective November 14, 1991 per the terms of the <br />AFSCME bat~aini0g unit contract; and <br /> WHE~IE&S, the City Council, at their January 14, 1992 meeting, confirmed the <br />recommendafg)ns }of the Personnel Committee to accept the performance evaluation for Senior <br />Engineering; ~echthician Donald Johnson in salary grade 3.5 and increase his annual salary to <br />$26,291 eff'ex:tCve I~lovember 14, 1991. <br />NOW THIg~EI~(~E, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSJE~, '~NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1 ) That ll~e Ciiy Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel <br /> Comm~tteel to accept the performance appraisal completed by Staff and increase Mr. <br /> J°hnso~n's ;~nnual salary to $26,291 in salary grade 3.5 effective November 14, 1991 per <br /> the trines o~ the AFSCME bargaining unit contract. <br />The motion fo~ i . <br /> the tadopnon of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> '~ andlupon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the folloW!rig Opted against the same: <br />and the followlng abstained: <br />and the follOw{rig vi, ere absent: <br /> <br />whereupon saifl re~lution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 28th day o~Ja~uary, 1992. <br /> <br /> <br />
