The property is located on the north side of <br />Vemdale Commercial Park and Ramsey Commercial Park. The property is <br />ac'res in size and currently consists of two unplaned lots and an ouflot. The <br />y developed with a steel building formerly occupied by The Party House, an <br />private residence and C&L Canvas Crafts. The VFW organization is <br />Party House and Mr. Cowles now finds it necessary to reconfigure the two <br /> into two platted parcels. As proposed, the plat will eliminate or at least <br /> of these conditions and she is recommending approval of the minor <br /> she would have to verify dates to see ff the four uses on the two properties <br /> or legal non-conforming. <br /> <br />Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Terry to recommend that City <br />Addition, a minor subdivision, pending legal advice on the dual use of <br /> <br />the lots. ~ <br /> <br />Motion carr~c ti. ~oting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Deemer, Terry, Bawden, <br />L,aDue and'~ ioru~ Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br />The Planning and :,~oning Commission recessed at 9:15 p.m. <br />Chairman ~iJl~ axleJman reconvened the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting at 9:25 p.m. <br />Case #5: - R{quest for Site Plan Amendment Review; Case of Mike's <br /> ?~ W~odworking, Mike Sjoquist. <br />Zoning Aff~msfl',ator Frolik stated that m August, 1991, the C~ty granted site plan approval to <br />Mike Sjoq~i~ fo~ a 1600 square foot cabinet making shop on Lot 4, Block 1, Pineview Estates <br />2nd Additi,0r~ P ~lagned Unit Development (P.U.D.) At this time, Mr. Sjoquist is requesting an <br />amendment~ ~i his site plan to also construct a 484 square foot accessory building to be used to <br />store mater}a~s us~l for making cabinets, exclusive of paints, varnishes, stains, etc. <br />Motion by i~rr~, issioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Bawden to recommend that <br />City Coun~i~ apl~rove Mr. Mike Sjoquisfs request for a site plan amendment for an accessory <br />structure off ~l~ot 4, Block 1, Pineview Estates 2nd Addition P.U.D. <br />Morion c.a~(~. ]Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Deemer, Bawden, LaDue, <br />Terry and 5?ru4.
