Mr. Dubois noted that when his home was originally sited on the <br />lot, the developer Idid it in such a way that any enlargement of the garage is prohibitive without <br />encroaching ? setbacks. <br />Motion by C~mrr4~ssioner Deemer and seconded by Comrmssloner Holland to adopt Resolution <br />g92-09-248 d~¢lar~.ng Findings of Fact # 0323 with items #12 through 16 to read in the positive. <br /> <br />Further discus sion!: Commissioner Terry stated that granting Mr. Dubois a variance to enlarge his <br />attached gara e b~ the size requested may be bordering on granting him special privileges. Mr. <br />Dubois replic I that he can't expand his garage space by utilizing the rear yard because he lives <br />ad.jacent to a ~ 'etl~d and his back yard floods in the spring. Mr. Dubois also noted that malcing an <br />addition to hii att4ched garage is giving him much less square footage for garage space than he's <br />allowed by:(~ itY iCode. Also, he would like to have the garage expanded as planned for <br />accessibility ~urrpgses.
