[ These estunatel include the cost of using City vehicles to pick up material for the roadside pickup. The figure us~ to ~stimate the costs is 1,600 yards of refuse. In 1991, the landfill received 1,262 yards of mat¢~al.. !These figures are generally high estimates based on the extra tires and/or appliances that ~h~ay'!be collected but not paid for at the landfill. The City does £~ceiq, e a profit of $1.00 from each tire by way of Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. donating' ~.50 bf the cost of each tire and the City increase of $.50 to make the charge a rounded amou4.i; ~he City will also be collecting a permit fee of $5.00 for permits issued at the landfill. 9
